Aaron’s Rents Makes a Bold Move—and NGS Goes with Them
Aaron’s Rents is one of the largest rent-to-own retailers in the country, with more than 2,000 stores in 47 U.S. states and Canada. The furniture, electronics and appliances giant recently made the forward-looking decision to move from its headquarters of 55 years in the Atlanta Buckhead neighborhood to new headquarters in the Cobb Galleria.
Although the move is a pioneering one, Aaron’s won’t be alone. Many other companies based in Atlanta have considered re-locating from in-town neighborhoods to the Cobb Galleria due to sky-rocketing rents and worsening traffic. The Home Depot has already made the transition. These companies look to a better quality of life for employees with the development of the Braves SunTrust Park in Cobb county, which will be part of a new walkable, work-live-play community.
National Glazing Solutions was selected to provide the interiors package for Aaron’s Rents upgraded headquarters based on its strong track record of delivering outstanding solutions and services for new-fashioned HQ projects, including State Farm Insurance Co.
NGS project scopes at the new Aaron’s Rents headquarters include digitally printed wallcoverings, custom printed window films, dimensional signage, wayfinding graphics and Belbien wood-grain vinyl.
Wood-grain looks, in particular, have surged in popularity in 2016. According to managing partner and vice president of sales for NGS, “What’s old is new again. Wood-grain vinyl adds warmth and contrast to a modern office environment in a cost-effective, practical application that is both durable and easy to maintain.”
